CoverGirl + Olay Simply Ageless 3-In-1 Liquid Foundation Review

According to CoverGirl, CoverGirl + Olay Simply Ageless 3-In-1 Liquid Foundation instantly reduces wrinkles, evens skin tone and delivers firming hydration.

How to Use: This foundation comes in an easy-to-use pump bottle. Per the instructions --which I normally discard but read for the purpose of this review-- you should dispense 1-2 pumps worth of liquid onto fingers or applicator sponge. Dot a small amount onto your forehead and cheeks. Then spread evenly over your face, making sure to blend carefully around your hairline and jawline.

The Good: This product goes on smoothly, blends well, and is light weight and is easy to apply. It is light and creamy (feels silky smooth!), non-comodegenic and covers well, providing good pigmentation and a natural-looking matte finish.

I love that this foundation contains Olay moisturizers. The sample I received was a touch too pink for my complexion, however, because it was so blendable, it still worked for me as it allowed my freckles to come through and still appear natural. While age spots were also still visible, overall tone was improved and I found that adding a little more foundation over specific spots allowed for targeted coverage and helped diminish them.

The So-So: While I didn't notice the promised firming action, this foundation definitely hydrated with plumping moisture. Due to its moisturizing properties, it feels somewhat slippery; however, this same attribute is what makes it blendable and the foundation sets within seconds. The addition of Olay also means this product has a light scent, but it is subtle and quite pleasant. I normally choose unscented products at the store (as I have sensitive skin), but this product did not irritate my skin in any way and was in fact quite
 gentle.

Bottom line: Overall, a nice everyday foundation at a good price point. I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone with dry, aging or sensitive skin.

I received this product for free from CoverGirl in exchange for my honest review.
