Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara Review

Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara is a new mascara by Covergirl that advertises super-volumized lashes (200% more volume to be exact!), with zero clumps.

How it works:

1. According to the instructions (which I read for the purpose of this review), if you're planning to use an eyelash curler, you should use it BEFORE you apply mascara (who knew?).
2. Once curled, Covergirl advises to apply one coat of mascara to your upper lashes.
3. Coat brush again and reapply, focusing on the outer edges of your lash lines.

Covergirl Tips: Do not pump the wand– it adds air bubbles that can dry your mascara. For a more dramatic look, apply a coat of mascara to your lower lashes.

This is me "true au-naturel" or as my hubby
calls it "Aww, are you not feeling well?"

Results:

Being light-haired, I don't have very dark or thick lashes. In fact, when I go without mascara, my lashes pretty much disappear into my face (which means my "au naturel" appearance often prompts onlookers to ask if I am feeling tired or sick). Clump Crusher by Lash Blast, however, solves that problem.

Clump Crusher volumized my lashes without clumping them together. With one coat, it lengthened and separated. It didn't add a ton of volume on the first application but with multiple coats, I was able to build volume really well.

It's magic power? --the applicator wand. Covergirl Clump Crusher comes with a very effective rubber brush. The bristles are a bit longer than other Covergirl brushes I've used so they separate the lashes better. The actual brush is also curved so it hugs the base of all of your lashes for a more even coat and does at great of catching those little corner lashes.

The mascara held up really well throughout the day without becoming sticky. There was no smudging or flaking and it kept the lashes fairly soft so it was pretty easy to remove.

Bottom line: LOVE! This is my new go-to mascara. It provides much needed definition. It's great to add with other mascaras and also a great finishing mascara. I have tried many popular mascaras from Benefit to Givenchy, but this one is much better and a quarter of the price! Highly recommend.

I received this product for free from Covergirl in exchange for my honest review.
