Schlage Touch Keyless Entry Lock Review

As someone with three children who are always coming and going (and a husband who is always losing his keys!), this Schlage Touch Keyless Entry Lock has been a godsend.

Installation is a breeze provided your lock is the same size (ours was smaller than regulation so we needed a 2 1/8 hole saw). But if you have a standard lock, all you need to do is remove the deadbolt and install this one in it's place then pass a wire through the hole to connect. Once the battery's in and the cover is on, you can set up your entry codes. 

I love the fact that we can set up different user codes for each forgetful family member. I also love that the keypad isn't high gloss. We jokingly told our 10-year-old son that it was his job to press each number every day to throw off any thieves attempting to break our code. But since the keypad is completely finger-print resistant, you don't have to worry (like my son) about finger prints giving away your code.

Bottom line: Schlage Touch Keyless Entry Lock is the answer your missing key woes. It is sleek without sacrificing strength. It easily fits between our front door and screen door. It even illuminates the numbers when needed at night!
